Police in Uganda have launched an investigation into the death of a 50-year-old man who reportedly died on Monday night while having an intimate encounter with a woman in a bush area.
According to local media reports, Busoga North police commander Samson Lubega confirmed the incident. He explained that at around 9:00 p.m., the man and a 40-year-old woman went into the Namulanda B bush area to spend time together.
Lubega stated that after their first encounter, the man suddenly collapsed during the second and died instantly.
The woman quickly called for help after realizing what had happened. Residents rushed to the scene, but efforts to save the man were unsuccessful.
Reports also indicate that the woman involved was not the man’s wife. Local residents claimed that his wife had recently given birth.
Authorities say investigations are ongoing, and the body has been taken for examination to determine the exact cause of death.
Medical experts explain that deaths during sexual activity are extremely rare and are usually linked to underlying health conditions such as heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, or the use of substances and energy-enhancing drugs that can put extra strain on the body.
