Paul Kagame joined fellow African heads of state and government leaders at a state dinner hosted by William Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto on Monday evening, May 11, 2026, at the State House Nairobi.
The banquet was organized in honor of the leaders attending the Africa Forward Summit, a major gathering focused on Africa’s economic transformation, regional cooperation, innovation, and the continent’s future development agenda.
During the evening, the leaders held discussions aimed at strengthening diplomatic ties, expanding economic partnerships, and promoting greater collaboration among African nations to improve the living standards of their citizens.
The summit brought together more than 4,000 participants, including over 25 heads of state and government, business leaders, investors, policymakers, and innovators from across Africa and beyond.
